Fee simple

A fee simple interest is the most common and strongest interest in land and means the interest in real estate of an owner, which includes the exclusive right to control, use and transfer the property or particular rights at will. Notices from BC Assessment identify the fee simple owners of a parcel of land (as opposed to lessees/tenants).
